Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria, Spain. Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital (HUMV). Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria (2015). Faculty member of the Intensive Care Medicine Service at the HUMV. Six years assigned to the Trauma and Neurocritical Care Unit and Coordinator of the Pediatric and Maternal Intensive Care Unit from 2015 to the present. Since 2018, member of Residents Teaching Unit at the HUMV and Collaborator as instructor in Inndoval Proyect. Professor in Master in Critical Care and Health Humanization at the Universities of Cantabria and Barcelona. Simulation Instructor at Valdecilla Virtual Hospital. Research interest in Humanization of Health Care and member of the Research Group Neurophysiology in Epilepsy and Neurointensive Care of the Biomedical Research Institute (IDIVAL), Santander, Cantabria, Spain. Member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), the group of Quality at the Spanish Society of Intensive, Critical Medicine and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC) and member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensive Care (SECIP). Currently studying the master`s degree in Direction and Management of Innovation in Health, promoted by Biomedical Research Institute (IDIVAL) and Nebrija University. Author of 10 book chapters, 42 articles in medical journals and more than 80 communications to congress and meetings.
