Currículum vitae
Marta Barrios is a Radiology resident at Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla (2020-2024). She is the Principal Investigator in the project “Advanced MRI in the Study of Neurodegenerative Diseases: Glymphatic System and Cognitive Impairment” since 2022. She received the Mentoring Scholarship in 2021. Dr Barrios is one of the investigators in the project “Feasibility Study of Visualization of the Glymphatic System by MRI after Intravenous Contrast Administration”, a study supported by the Nextval scholarship. She published the book chapter “Emergency Protocols in Radiology: Gastrointestinal Radiology” in 2022. She has had several educational exhibits accepted in national and international congresses, such as the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Congress 2022, the European Society of Radiology (ECR) Congress 2022 and the National Congress of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) in 2022.
