Teresa Pérez Poo

From 2015 to 2019 I completed my Clinical Psychology residency at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. From February 2020 to the present I work as a Clinical Psychologist at the same hospital, in the Partial Psychiatric Hospitalization Unit (UHPP). In this device the clinical management of patients is performed in an interdisciplinary way, being my functions as a clinical psychologist the administration of psychometric assessment tests to inpatients, the design and implementation of group psychoeducational programs for the training of cognitive, emotional and social deficits, recovery of personal autonomy, self-care habits, relapse prevention and improvement of therapeutic adherence. As part of the organizational chart of the Unit are the care programs for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), for Alcohol Related Problems (ARP) and the High Resolution Program for the Management of Suicidal Behavior and Suicide Prevention (CARS) in which I participate performing functions of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to these programs, applying evidence-based psychological intervention techniques and offering guidance, support and advice to family members.
