Currículum vitae

Specialist in bioinformatics applied to genomics. She obtained a degree in Biotechnology
from Pablo de Olavide University (Pablo de Olavide University, 2019), a diploma in
Bioinformatics Analysis (Pablo de Olavide University, 2019), and two master's degrees: one
in Advanced Bioinformatics Analysis (Pablo de Olavide University, 2021) and another in
Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (Autonomous University of Madrid, 2021).

She has worked as a bioinformatics technician in the Microbial Genomics area at Gregorio
Marañón Hospital (2021-2023), conducting both her own research and providing support to
other groups within the Microbiology department. She carried out epidemiological
surveillance of SARS-CoV-2, analyzed nosocomial outbreaks, and studied the emergence
and dynamics of resistance to new treatments for this infection. She also provided rapid
responses to emerging threats, such as the Monkeypox outbreaks. Within the team, she
worked on projects involving tuberculous and non-tuberculous mycobacteria.

Currently, she works as a bioinformatician in the Microbiology department at Marqués de
Valdecilla University Hospital (2023-), working on a project focused on detecting bacterial
mobile genetic elements in clinical samples and tracking them at a national level.
