Currículum vitae
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at the International University of Catalonia, where I was awarded an Academic Excellence Scholarship. I later pursued a Master’s degree in Mental Health Research at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. My research trajectory began at the Ugo Mayor Research Group at the Universidad del País Vasco, where I gained extensive laboratory training in PCR, molecular cloning, cell transfection and culture, cellular staining, protein extraction, GFP pull-down assays and Western Blot. I then joined the Ángel Pazos Research Group at the Instituto de Biomedicina y Biotecnología de Cantabria, where I evaluated anxiety- and depression-related behavioral outcomes in murine models using ANY-maze and performed techniques such as tissue homogenization, synaptosome isolation and Western Blot. I also completed clinical observation training at Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla, where I participated in patient evaluations focused on eating disorders. Alongside my academic and research experience, I completed complementary training in Good Clinical Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, Python programming, and Excel. I am fluent in Spanish and English (C1 Cambridge) and have basic proficiency in Catalan (A2).
