Olga De Cos Guerra is Associate Professor, Department of Geography, Urbanism and Land Planning, University of Cantabria (Spain). She is also a member in the Research Group of Health Economics and Health Service Management. She holds a PhD in Geography and a Master in Geographic Information Systems (SITGE-Universitat de Girona). Her main lines of research are focused on spatial patterns, multicriteria analysis, GIS and geostatistical methods to analyse and represent geographic information in relation to health issues. She participates as a reviewer in prestigious international journals, has a H-index of 9 (Google Scholar) and has published in relevant journals, such as: International J. of Environmental Research and Public Health, International Journal of Geo-Information, Journal of Regional Research, Scripta Nova or Bulletin of the Spanish Association of Geography, among others. Additionally, she has experience in university management; she was the Head of the Department of Geography, Urbanism and Land Planning (University of Cantabria) from May 2013 to May 2017
