Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Cantabria (UC, since 2024) and researcher in the Clinical and Translational Research Group on Digestive Diseases at the Marqués de Valdecilla Health Research Institute (IDIVAL, since 2020). PhD with International Mention from the University of Salamanca (USAL, 2019). Coordinator of the Cantabria Cohort Project (IDIVAL, 2021–2023). Her research focuses on the study of cellular and molecular mechanisms of disease and the identification of new biomarkers, with special emphasis on genetic, autoimmune, and cholestatic liver diseases. She is a member of the Young Investigator Task Force of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (2023–2026), participates in science outreach events (February 11 – International Day of Women and Girls in Science, European Researchers’ Night, Science Saturdays), and serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals.
