Manuel Herrero Montes is Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Department of Nursing at the University of Cantabria. Doctor in the Doctoral Program of Health Sciences of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid (Spain). Academic background: Diploma in Nursing from the University of Cantabria. Official Master in Integral Management and Research in Chronic Wound Care (University of Cantabria), University Expert in Obesity: diagnosis, prevention, and treatment (UNED), University Expert in care and cure of chronic wounds, University Expert in Geriatric Nursing and University Specialist in Nephrological Nursing and Dialysis (University of Cantabria). In addition, she has training in research methodology (INVESTEN- Instituto de Salud Carlos III), Methodological bases for literature review and writing of scientific articles (Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública) and Systematic Reviews (Spanish Collaborating Center of the Joanna Briggs Institute). Work experience as a nurse between 2000-2020 in dialysis, radiology, primary care, internal medicine and emergency.
