Leticia Martínez González

I am Nurse in the urology department of the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, with 9 years of experience in clinical practice in different areas of nursing and in different Spanish hospitals. I have completed a Master in innovation and health sciences and I have a PhD in biomedicine and health sciences from the University of León, León (España). I have been an honorary collaborator of the Nursing Department of the University of Cantabria in the academic year 2014-2015. I am Investigator in the gene-environment-health interactions in the University of León. I am also part of the nursing research team at Idival since June 2022. I am current research is focused on understnding the interaction between eating disorders and drugs and how it applies to stress and psychiatric- related disorders at key time-windows across the lifespan. I have made numerous scientific publications in high impact JCR journals such as the "International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health" or " Hospital Nutrition" among others, book publications and I have presented around 100 scientific communications in national and international congresses. I had published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and have a H-index of 7 (Google Scholar). I have a Senior Review of Preventive Medicine and Spanish Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I received the award for the best oral communication "risk of eating disorders in university students: UNIHCOS PROJECT" in the VII Regional Congress of Nursing of Castilla y León. I am part of the scientific committee of the national and international nursing congress organized by the Spanish Association of Nursing and Health since 2020. I have participated as a Collaborator in two research projects since 2018: - Phase II, multicenter, international, double-blind, two-group, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial of pirfenidone in patients with progressive unclassifiable epifibrosing (MA39189) (ROCHE PRODUCTS LIMITED)-. - Double-masked, multicenter, placebo-controlled, double-blinded clinical trial to investigate the efficacy and safety of 12 months of inhaled Promixin® (sodium colistimethate) therapy for the treatment of patients with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis with chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) infection (Z7224L01) (ZAMBON SPA).
