Francisco Javier Gómez De La Fuente

Francisco Javier Gómez de la Fuente is a Nuclear Medicine Consultant Physician and Works in the Nuclear Medicine service of the “Marqués de Valdecilla” University Hospital, Santander, Cantabria, Spain, where he collaborates in the clinical and scientific activity. He received a BSc MB ChB from the University of Cantabria, Spain. He granted a Family Medicine Specialist degree in 2001 from the Area VI Teaching Unit of Madrid, Spain. From then on, he worked as a General Practitioner, in Spain but mainly in United Kingdon (with several post in England and Scotland over 8 years). He granted a Nuclear Medicine Specialist degree in 2018 from the “Marqués de Valdecilla” University Hospital Teaching Unit, Santander, Cantabria, Spain. He spent 2 years working as Nuclear Medicine Consultant in the “Cruces” University Hospital, Barakaldo, Basque Country, Spain. He had just clinical duties on that post. He spent the last 3 years working as Nuclear Medicine Consultant in the “Marqués de Valdecilla” University Hospital, Santander, Spain, post that he holds nowadays Dr. Gómez de la Fuente current research, although he collaborates in several other research line within the Nuclear Medicine Service. He has published several original articles in scientific publications based in those researches, mainly regarding Prostate Cancer management, including the last, published in 2022.
