Ernesto Herrero Blanco is Urologyst at Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. In 2013 He graduated in Medicine from Oviedo University. He was trained as a specialist in Urology at Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. He was a visiting fellow in the Uro-Oncology and robotic pelvic surgery unit at the University College London Hospital in 2017, in the lithiasis unit at Bellvitge University Hospital (Barcelona) in 2018, and finally at the Zorrotzaurre Clinic (Bilbao) in litiasis unit and robotic surgery unit in 2018. He holds the European accreditation "Fellow of the European Board of Urology". He is member of European Association of Urology and The Spanish Urology Association. He is an Instructor of laparoscopy courses at the Hospital Virtual del Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla. He is author and co-author in more than 130 national and international communications. He has received two awards for the best surgical video at the XV national congress of the Spanish Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery, and the XXVIII National Meeting of the lithiasis, endourology, laparoscopy and robotics groups. He is co-author of 4 videos awarded for best video and 1 award for best poster. He is author of 3 scientific journal articles. One of them was awarded as First Finalist in the XL Edition of the Pérez Castro Awards. He is author of 3 articles and 3 book chapters. He is author of 1 national multicenter study and co-investigator in 3 other national studies.
