Currículum vitae

Marcos Pajaron Guerrero is an internist at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Cantabria in 1998 and specialized in internal medicine at the same hospital. Since 2004 he has been working as a physician in the home hospitalization unit, attending to patients with acute infectious pathology and acute exacerbated chronic diseases. In 2016 he obtained his doctorate from the University of Cantabria. That same year he participated in the ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) implementation program, organized by the ERAS Society. Since then, he has been actively collaborating with the colorectal surgical team in the development of the HUMV colon surgery ERAS program, both from an assistance and research point of view. He has been author and coauthor of numerous communications and articles at national and international level in this field of enhanced recovery after surgery.
