Graduated in Medicine from the University of Salamanca in 2016 and later trained as a specialist in Digestive Diseases at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital between 2017 and 2021. Since then, working in the same Hospital. As part of my additional training, I completed a placement in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease area at the La FE University and Polytechnic Hospital in Valencia, as well as the Advanced Digestive Endoscopy Master's program from the Spanish Society of Digestive Endoscopy (2021) and other accredited courses. Now, I am studying the Master's program from the Spanish Working Group on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (GETECCU), in advanced vision and comprehensive management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Currently, my work focuses on the management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and other immune-mediated gastrointestinal disorders, combining my clinical work with research. So that, I participate in several projects in the field of hepatology and immune-mediated diseases, as well as in several projects within our IBD Unit. Besides, I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Cantabria under a FIS fellowship from the Carlos III Health Institute, in collaboration with the Psychiatry Department of the HUMV.
Finally, I a member of the Spanish Society of Gastroenterology (SEPD), the Spanish Working Group on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (GETECCU), the Spanish Gastroenterology Association (AEG) and the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO)
