Currículum vitae

Giulia Bronzi is a predoctoral researcher in Biolaw.
 
She graduated from the University of Trento's Faculty of Law in September 2024 with a thesis on the perspectives and legal implications of the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology, especially for the treatment of hereditary genetic diseases.
 
From September to December 2023, she spent a thesis research period abroad, in Bilbao, at the public University of the Basque Country, where she started a PhD program in November 2024. Her doctoral research aims to analyse the possible applications of artificial intelligence in the field of health care, in the light of the new European regulations recently issued, without neglecting the most relevant ethical controversies.
 
In the course of her studies she had the opportunity to intern at several law firms, most recently, the international law firm Hogan Lovells, one of the world's top law firms advising on corporate, finance, litigation, regulatory and IP law, at the intersection of business and government. She did a multidisciplinary curricular internship at the Milan office in January and February 2023.
