Mónica Hernández Herrero

Mónica Hernández Herrero holds a PhD in Biolaw, Bioethics, Health and Human Rights. She also has a degree in Medicine and Surgery and is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine. She has extensive training in hospital management and quality of care: she has a Master's Degree in Health Services Management and a Master's Degree in Quality Management of Health Services. At a clinical and professional level, she has worked as a hospital emergency physician, Quality and Teaching Coordinator and Medical Director of the Hospital de Laredo (Cantabria), a center that provides care to an area of more than 100,000 inhabitants, where she currently holds the highest responsibility as Managing Director. As a researcher, she has published numerous articles in scientific journals and has participated in collective works specialized in the field of Law and Medicine, which have been published by the most prestigious publishing houses. From the perspective of internationalization, she has given several lectures and communications in clinical and university forums in Europe and America.
