I am currently doing my formative period as a Resident Medical Intern of Cardiology of the fourth year at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. My care activity complement with basic medical research through the Institute of Valdecilla Research (IDIVAL). I belong to the research group of Factors of Growth and Tissue Plasticity encompassed in the area of Organ and Tissue Transplantation and New Therapies. Our current line of research, led by Dr. JF Nistal, consists in the study of the left ventricular hypertrophy-regression mechanism in mice of laboratory through the creation of aortic contrictions. This line of research will be the basis on which I will develop my doctoral thesis.
