Contrato para la realización del proyecto: "TGF-β1 and PDGFA at the gene and protein level: a new approach to the challenge of early and accurate diagnosis of interstitial lung disease associated with autoimmune diseases".
Datos básicos
Objetivos del proyecto
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The main objective of the present project is to study TGF-ß1 and PDGFA in their gene and protein form in the pathogenesis of AD-ILD+ as a possible diagnostic and prognostic biomarker of the disease. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE AND FURTHER: 1- Role of TGFB1 and PDGFA gene expression in whole peripheral blood as biomarkers of AD-ILD+, its severity, and progression to a progressive fibrosing phenotype. 2- Role of serum levels of TGF-ß1 and the PDGF-AA homodimer in AD-ILD+ as biomarkers of diagnosis, severity, and evolution to a progressive fibrosing phenotype. 3- Role of TGFB2 and TGFB3 at gene and protein level as biomarkers of AD-ILD+, its severity, and progression to a progressive fibrosing phenotype in order to confirm the central and key role of TGFB1 in the disease.
